The Paper Low alert and Paper Out alert are now classified as Device Fault events, rather than Cash Fault events. This enhancement reflects the X-Start kiosk terminal's status as a cashless point-of-sale environment. This enhancement improves alert accuracy and routing.

Kiosk message screens have been refreshed across alert, warning, and success states. These updates improve consistency, readability, and overall presentation during important customer interactions such as approvals, declines, notifications, and out-of-service conditions. The refreshed design provides a more modern and polished kiosk experience. This improvement helps customers better understand what is happening at each step of the transaction flow.

A Pause Watchdog function is now available from the Maintenance Utilities panel. When activated, Watchdog monitoring is suspended until the next reboot, providing a safe window to troubleshoot issues without triggering unintended reboots.
Watchdog also now automatically pauses during software updates, Windows updates, database backups, and database restores, and will not activate on a newly set-up kiosk until a device profile has been assigned.

The X-Start kiosk terminal migration process is enhanced to now include support for migrations from the Portal kiosk terminal and the Sentinel kiosk terminal, in addition to the existing migration process for the C-Start kiosk terminal. The migration process automatically excludes cash peripherals and cash-related reports from the new hardware profiles, while preserving all historical data.

For multi-bay sites using a static IP setup, each kiosk can now be assigned its own Power Module IP address in SierraX. Settings are stored per device, eliminating the previous single-IP limitation for multi-bay sites.

The unnecessary Enter Code button has been removed from the Add More Payment screen. This streamlines the interface, providing a cleaner and simpler payment flow, especially on configurations where several payment options are displayed. By reducing the opportunity for customer confusion, this enhancement can help reduce transaction times, increase through-put, and improve the customer experience.

A Debit Enabled setting is now available for the A2-05 EMV payment card reader configuration. When debit is enabled, the kiosk button will display as Credit/Debit. When debit is not enabled, the button will display as Credit. This helps ensure the customer-facing payment options shown on screen match the actual capabilities of the installed device and reduces confusion during checkout.

The Merchant ID field on the SierraX Credit Processing panel is renamed Datacap ID when PAX IM30 credit mode is selected. This enhancement can reduce confusion when configuring the DC Direct integration, which requires a Datacap ID, not a Merchant ID.

The X-Start kiosk terminal now supports legacy Tran EMV processing with the VP6800 EMV reader. Sites using VP6800 hardware can configure EMV Credit mode with the Tran reader and process transactions exactly as they did with C-Start, including proper maintenance mode status and alert behavior.

Text-based One Touch promotions now appear inside a white text box for better readability on a variety of kiosk backgrounds. This makes promotional messaging easier to see, especially when darker themes are in use. If no text is entered, the box will remain blank. The white text box only appears when text is used and will not display when the promotion uses an image or video instead.

Director Connectivity Status: A green indicator when the site is communicating normally; red when the "Site No Longer Communicating" alert is active.
Current Weather: The current weather data is now available using the site's zip code. If no zip code is on file, or weather data is unavailable for the selected date, a dash is shown. This enhancement provides operators an immediate at-a-glance view of weather-related reasons for low site activity.

Exported PDF reports now display the logo that matches the client's product tier: DirectorX for Good Tier, Director Pro for Better Tier, and Director Legacy for Legacy Tier.

An issue that could result in the Wash Busy / Please Wait screen displaying an unapproved image, leading to confusion for customers is resolved.
An issue that could cause an X-Start kiosk terminal to display a Server Down condition and require manual intervention to recover the server is resolved.

An issue that could result in customers having to select an unwanted wash service before the PAX IM30 reader would arm when choosing Other Card is resolved.

An issue that could cause the Watcher Details report to time out when generating a large date range across for multiple sites, is resolved.
