Create a Promotion


Use the following steps to create and schedule a promotion: After a promotion is created, it must be scheduled to be deployed using the Scheduled Tasks tool (Promotion Update).

Note: Promotions are created (and scheduled) in the Promotion Manager panel.

Steps

Create a Promotion

  1. Select Add New in the Washes panel. A popup window will appear.
  2. Select the type of promotion from the drop-down menu.
  3. Enter the name of the promotion.
  4. Enter the site ID number.
  5. Select the Active check box to activate the promotion.
  6. Select the check box next to Allow Discounts to allow or disallow the use of discount codes.
  7. Use the drop-down menu to select the applicable wash.
  8. Enter the discount amount in dollars. (ex. Enter “1.00” for $1 off)
  9. Select Save.
  10. To create an added service (optional), click Added Service.
  11. Select an Added Service. A popup window will appear.
  12. Use the drop-down menu to select your preferred added service and enter discount amount in whole dollars.
  13. Select Save.

Schedule a Promotion

 

  1. To schedule a promotion, select a start and end date.
  2. Select a begin and end time for promotion.
  3. Check the box next to the day(s) of week promotion will be enabled.
  4. Select Save.
